Ascension Lutheran's CONNECT Happenings
Wildwood Walk and Picnic Lunch ~ Sunday, April 26th at 1pm (Wildwood Parking Lot)Join us for some fresh springtime air! After the 11am service, we are picking up food (or you can bring a sack lunch) and meeting in the parking lot of Wildwood Park (located at the western end of Avenida de Los Arboles). Then we’ll go to the tepee to have a picnic lunch and walk through the beautiful trails to the waterfall! “God’s Favorite” Stage Play ~ Saturday, May 9th at 1:30pm, Conejo Players Theater; lunch at 12:00 pm, location TBD ($7 tickets for the first 15 people to sign up!!!)Come join us for the hilarious play, “God’s Favorite” written by Neil Simon. In this modern-day adaptation of the story of Job, a Long Island tycoon is visited by a messenger from God and suddenly finds that everything becomes a test of his faith! The show is at 2:00pm; however we’re meeting at 1:30pm to get seats. You’re also welcome to join us at 12:00pm for lunch at a location TBD near the theater. The seats were originally $10 each, but if you’re one of the first 15 people to sign up, you’ll get them for only $7!!! Don’t wait until the show sells out to get your seats!)
